With Elise Tassell & Jessica Howie

November 08, 2019

Friday 8th 7-9:30pm & Saturday 9th 11am-6pm @ Richard Benson Hall, Oxford

A time for introspection and self-care through the practice of embodied movement, dance & stillness.

We are excited to be coming together to offer an evening and a day for women to dance, restore and explore gentle yin movement.  We are both dedicated to supporting Women in the cultivation of a relationship to self-care that includes our bodies, hearts & minds . Knowing that our own wellness is essential for being aligned with how we live our lives and for the wellness of our planet.

Tuning into this time of year when we are entering the depths of winter, we will be creating space for deep listening to our own inner rhythms and cycles and sharing our collective knowledge for women to find their own ways to best resource themselves. Our time together will be a mixture of movement, dance, stillness, connection and rest.

7:00-8:30pm @ Barracks Lane Community Garden, Oxford, OX4 2AP

This will be the last session before a Winter break!

A space for exploring yoga as an act of self-care, with emphasis on nourishing and nurturing ourselves. A space to listen to your body, to tune in to your personal needs and to adapt your yoga practice accordingly. I will be offering a mixture of slow flow, intuitive movement, yin/restorative poses & guided relaxation practices.

Circle has been a way of gathering for many centuries, each woman takes her place as equal. It is an opportunity to be held in a space of non-judgment and to offer each other support by practicing yoga together.

You don’t need to have any prior experience, you are welcome just as you are.

Taking place in the cosy cabin at Barracks Lane Community Garden, a haven of nature in the city. On cold evenings we'll have the wood burner to keep us warm!

£15 per session
