About The Event
Often in life we spend our days moving in linear ways, we walk, work, exercise, practice yoga & so on. In this workshop we will start to blur the lines between yoga & dance, to explore the non-linear & go beyond what looks ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. Our movements don’t have to be ‘beautiful’, not in a conventional sense. They are our unique expressions in physical form.
We’ll start on our yoga mats and then begin to explore outside the boundaries of the mat & incorporate intuitive movement into our yoga practice.
You will be encouraged to cultivate a sense of deep listening to your body, through listening we allow our bodies to open in a natural way, this allows us to unwind the effects of the past that are stored within our physical being and open a doorway into an embodied present moment.
